Welcome to Casa Sol y Luna, a newly reimagined tropical retreat that blends timeless Mexican charm with a fresh, modern aesthetic. Just one block from the beach and a short stroll from town, this private oasis offers an elevated Sayulita experience, refined yet relaxed.
Recently redesigned from the ground up, the home features a brand-new living room, dining area, and kitchen, all styled with a playful, contemporary sensibility. Every detail has been thoughtfully upgraded, from custom cabinetry and new appliances to lighting, tile, and countertops, creating a bright, cohesive space that feels both functional and sophisticated.
A built-in bar setup connects seamlessly with the kitchen and dining area, perfect for entertaining or enjoying cocktails poolside. A sliding glass door system allows the main living space to fully close for quiet, air-conditioned comfort or open completely for a seamless indoor/outdoor flow to the pool and garden.
Each bedroom is housed in its own detached casita, offering privacy and tranquility while still being steps from the pool and lush tropical landscaping.

Pet Fee - There is a pet fee of $100 for a pet staying at the home. Renters must abide by the following pet rules:
- Pets are not allowed to relieve themselves anywhere on the property grounds. Guests are responsible for taking their pets off the premises for bathroom breaks and must clean up after them immediately.
- Pets are not allowed on furniture, especially beds and sofas.
- Pets should not be left unattended in the rental property. If guests need to leave without their pets, they should ensure pets are safely crated or confined in a designated area.
- Pets must be well-behaved and should not disturb neighbors with excessive barking, meowing, or other noise.
- Guests will be held financially responsible for any damage or excess cleaning caused by their pets.
We ask for a 50% deposit to secure the reservation, and the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival.
Please note that these payments are non-refundable. However, should you need to cancel for any reason I will attempt to re-rent the house. In the case that the house is re-rented, your payment will be refunded minus any difference in booking rate and minus any fees.
Mexico is different from the USA or Canada in that the country/people have their own sets of traditions, values, norms, and ways of life. Many things we take for granted “up north” are not quite the same down here in Sayulita. Sometimes variables like utilities, smells, noise, neighbors, cars, animal life, repair times, etc just cannot be managed in the same manner as in other parts of the world. While we do our very best to ensure a delightful and 100% positive vacation, please understand that some of the reasons we love living and vacationing in Mexico can occasionally be a bit inconvenient. Thus, our refund policy will not cover any of the above items unless it is something within our immediate control. Thank you for understanding.
Setup and layout of house is great for 3 couples or a family.
Jewel was a great help in coordinating transportation and helped us in arranging a chef to come to the house.
Great experience all around.
We also lived the location on the north end of town. It’s a 10 minute walk to the town square but nice and quiet and there are good dining options within a couple blocks. It’s about a 3 minute walk to the beach. We will be back!
